Taken a few weeks ago, and, unfortunately, a few weeks too late to catch President Obama at his recent appearance here.

A long time ago, I used to travel this corridor when I worked for the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco and Firearms in the Federal Triangle district of Washington, DC. The Environmental Protection Agency is now headquartered here, at the Ariel Rios Federal Building or New Post Office.
April 5th, 2011
Last week’s cherry blossoms at the tidal basin in Washington DC. We’ve been busy here with family visits over the past week, but will be back in a few days. Hope everyone is well and enjoyed the taste of summer here, yesterday. Unfortunately, today’s weather will probably put an end to the blossoms that were so beautiful last week.
