Okay, so she doesn’t wield a racket and play your traditional game of tennis, but that girl loves chasing the tennis ball, and on the tennis court, no less. Recently the courts have been the only places free and clear of mounds of snow, and I don’t know what we’re going to do when spring arrives and they start to fill up with humans. I guess it’ll be back to the grassy fields for us.
Too bad, ’cause no human could ever strike a prettier pose on the court than Lucy.

Thank you to a fun guy of the yogi sort for this post title, which, as it happens, was inspired by one of his *ahem* jokes in comments here. I am simply h-o-r-r-i-b-l-e with post titles. If you happen to come across a good one here, it was most likely begged from W or, as in this case, inspired by a blog friend.
Oh, by the way, this is just a bunch of fun guys I found hanging out on an old tree stump in the forest. Hee…”fun guys”…love that. Okay, so it doesn’t take much to amuse me.

I couldn’t decide on today’s photo. Nothing felt right…not the acorn in a stream of sunlight on the forest floor nor delightful Lucy on a summer day with her muzzle buried in the sand. So, with just minutes left in the day, I’m going with this one. It resonates. A little angsty about an upcoming visit with family, this will be the first time in my life that my dad won’t be there…the first time in months that I may, again, face contention. And snow is coming—a pittance compared to the mess that is plaguing other parts of the country—but still unwelcome. So, I’m going to brush the uneasiness aside and strive to put my mind at peace, because there is no good reason to not do either.

Just a reminder of the weather that’s coming in a few months, at least in this part of the world. It won’t be long, folks. Yay!
Go to SkyWatch Friday and find skies from all over the world. While you’re there, why not leave a link to your own skies so all can enjoy? Many thanks to Klaus, Sandy, Wren, Fishing Guy, Louise and Sylvia for hosting this most ethereal meme!

No, not twilight the saga, but the time of day! Plus, there’s a half moon in this one. No vampires, but we do have bats flying around here sometimes.
