You knew it was coming. All the talk about lurking birthdays, the festive banner, the cake store.

Yup, today’s my birthday. And it just happens I was born on a Tuesday. Also happens that it snowed that day, although I think we’re past all that right here, right now.

A friend whom I recently discovered on Facebook commented that this photo made him miss Virginia. Well, just happens that I miss California, his place of residence, since visiting there a few years back. So he writes that if I come to California, take this bus. And I’m ready to go, and am thinking, wow, this looks an awful lot like a giant birthday cake to me (the cake thing again) or a huge beautifully wrapped gift. Actually, it’s the Love Bus from San Francisco’s lovEvolution, an annual dance music parade and festival, and from what I see of the YouTube videos, a great time for all. As soon as I saw R’s photo, I knew it would make for a very happy birthday post, so today I’ve made it my birthday bus.
