Feathery Fungi

I haven’t yet identified this, which I assume is some sort of fungi or mushroom. I didn’t want to disturb it, so I didn’t touch it, but it looks soft…kinda marshmallowy. Feel free to name it if you can.

Fungi corsage

Fungi corsage

Decaying trees in the park are full of cool fungi and lichen. This one reminded me of a huge flower corsage.

Fungied phalanges

I came across these on a rotting tree trunk on one of Lucy’s walks in Mason District Park. It’s a macro shot of what I believe is Xylaria Polymorpha or Dead Man’s Fingers. Of course to Lucy they’re plausible treats. Ugh.
