So, this is one of the reasons that I don’t get anything done. I look over and see this and then run for the camera, though quietly, so as not to disturb the subject. I spend at least 10 to 20 minutes on a series of shots…macro, black and white, flash, no flash…and another hour to peruse, select and perform cosmetic surgery (I rarely post a photo without some sort of “touch-up”). Then a few words, as here, that never quite do the photo justice. However, I can never pass up a sleeping Lucy photo…and I did complete a post, so… .

Originally stationed on the stair landing to spy on the dog walking up the street and the neighbor monkeying around with his car, poor Lucy grew bored and let nature take its course. Notice the ears are still on alert, just in case…
