    I don’t know what it is either, Grace. This park has placards for many of its plants, since they’re all native Virginia plants, but I must’ve missed this one. Only with the macro did I notice the boxy shapes.

  You are sooooo inquisitive! As little as that, you really have seen the contrast of the colors of that flower. From one glance you just look at it only in one color, but you,…. of being your so observant,you have seen its beauty.
