Lucy is all eyes and ears as winds louden, and things continue to fall on the roof…and the most tumultuous is yet to come. Poor girl.
By the way, my dad would’ve been 77 today. Happy Birthday, Daddy, and if you’re wondering, yes, we cleared the gutters in hopes that the basement won’t flood again.

With all the wind and banging around, poor Lucy couldn’t rest…woke us up every few hours. I guess that could be considered guarding, as there’s no way she was gonna let us sleep through anything!

Thanks so much, tt. High winds and less rain than we expected have already passed, and we’re all fine.
She looks distraught. The other night we had a pretty violent electrical storm (nothing touching what you are enduring) and Bonbon shook and panted so hard I wished I had a doggie sedative for her.
I think your dad would be proud of you, Holly, and I like to think he is watching over you and Lucy.

So sorry about Bonbon, Lydia. Lucy also gets very nervous in thunderstorms, however she has a basement to go to, and that seems to help her a lot. I do wish there were some sort of natural sedative for them, though. Lucy gets so nervous in other situations, too. I know we’ve had some part in that, though. :o(
