    Thanks, me! I remember that you posted a photo of this awhile back…in b&w, I think. At that time I had a pic of this, but it was too blurry–it’s so delicate, and the wind made it impossible to photograph. Much calmer on this day. I’m glad you knew what it was. :o)

      You’re welcome Holly. When I saw it last year – I was out walking in town – I just had to know what it was. I love that name. . . Devil’s trumpet. I had photographed it just about a year ago. It was close to dark so all I could do was grab the white of the flower and just let the rest of the plant disappear. I once read about a clip that you can run from your camera to (say) a flower when you’re using a macro lens in order to hold the scene still. I’ve never seen what this clip looks like. . . Maybe I am making this up.
