I’ve trolled the interwebz and still can’t identify these small round fuzzy blue flowers. Lucy was less concerned and plopped down in the middle of them, despite our being in clear view of park people. She was only interested in them because I was trying to get shots. She does that.
So, does anyone know the names of these flowers?

I don’t know the name of the flowers, but I like how Lucy knows who the *real* photographic subject is: her!

These are much smaller, Grace, although they are similar in look. Yes, that gurl is not to be ignored!
Maybe they’re the allium flowers but in blue? Lucy sure loves the spotlight!

Haha…yes, Lucy always gets so excited when I get in some unusual position to take a photo…she tramples my subject then plops down in the middle of it all. Argh.
I have no idea what the flowers are but I like them. Lucy is such a ham, but an adorable one for sure

The flower looks very allium, but I don’t know of any with leaves on the stem. There are a number of blue alliums, but I can’t figure those leaves. I’ll have to do some more looking.
And these are really short. I’ve tried Googling by description, and nothing seems right. But I know what you mean…it does have the allium look.
It really looks like some sort of dwarf globe thistle. Regular ones get 4-6 feet tall

You might be right, sharkbytes. I looked it up, and it’s the closest I’ve seen yet. Thanks!
