An excellent reason. When my mother had a large front lawn, she let it grow — was very into the idea of it being a meadow, which it would have become eventually. But boy, were the neighbors p***ed off! (Not saying that your neighbors would be — I just remember the reaction well). People can be weird about grass and yards.

If I had a lawn and it looked like that, I wouldn’t mow!

If I don’t mow I just end up with dandelions :-(
Well, there’s nothing wrong with dandelions, John. I love them, and they do look beautiful en masse.
I agree with Grace. So beautiful.
Thanks, Shannon, and thanks for stopping by to comment. :o)

Your flowers are lovely and deserve to grow freely!

I love lawns with daisies and dandelions and clover… why on earth would anyone prefer a green desert?
Haaa…green desert is right, Bird. We’ve never cared for the manicured and (ugh) “sprayed” lawns. Let it grow, we say!
