It’s raining here today. The vacuum cleaner is one of Lucy’s favorite indoor friends, although she doesn’t see it nearly as much as she’d like. My fault. But, just as in the dog park…it’s a little bit of play…a little bit of rest.
And you thought Lucy lived a life of luxury, with no responsibilities!

Wow–I don’t think I’ve ever seen a dog that got along with a vacuum cleaner. Most seem either terrified or hostile toward them.

She kinda gets along with it the way she does with her doggie friends. As soon as she hears me dragging it out, she comes running, barking and tail wagging…after it’s on, she charges it, runs from it, charges it again. When it’s off, she’ll lie down next to, or near it. Crazy dog.
That’s a really nice rug and see how special Lucy is? She likes the vacuum cleaner! Now who likes vacuum cleaners? Anyone? Oh, yeah, my husband. He’s like Tom on “Waiting for God” – Hoovers when he is upset or bored…Gad

Thanks, Grace…that rug is ancient…like 20 or more years old. Lucky you that your husband also likes the vacuum, though I’m sure he doesn’t bark and charge it. Now if Lucy could only learn to operate it, then that would be something. It would also be child labor. :o/
Well Lucy and Duke have something in common since he also likes the vacuum. Never had a dog who didn’t run from one until Duke came along. He’ll sit and watch me vacuum until I pull the hose part off and give him a quick once over .
Love your rug. I’ve been looking for one for my living room and can’t seem to find one that I could live with AND afford…lol

Ha! Good for Duke. It’s always nice to have an indoor playmate. If Lucy doesn’t see me first, I can usually sneak up from behind and give her a once over, too…she seems to like that.
Thanks on the rug, ann. W bought that years and years ago. I’m surprised that it looks so good here…it’s actually in pretty bad shape…been through two doggies, ya know…and never professionally cleaned. :o(
