This is my sweet three-year-old nephew watching Up on my laptop. There’s a scene in the movie where the main character, Carl Fredricksen, looks through a photo album of himself and his wife, Ellie. The last page of the album shows the two of them in their golden years, sitting together in their comfy chairs, and my nephew cooed, awww… So sensitive.
Later, as I was trying to show him how to pause the movie, I accidentally opened my email over top of it. Don’t change the channel! he said with a hint of panic. So funny.
The other morning as I was getting him ready for school, I cleared my throat and told him that I had a frog in it and then I couldn’t resist making frog noises. He looked at me quizzically and asked, Why are frogs in your body? On the way to his play school I could hear him back there in his car seat, clearing his throat and ribbit-ing. I know, I’m a bad influence!
I’m always amazed by him…all the nieces and nephews, actually. Such a fun and intelligent bunch. :o)

Such a cutie!

Well isn’t he just the cutest little guy. Love the things that come out of kids mouths. What else will you be able to teach him while you’re there…lol
