Yesterday evening on Lucy’s walk, we stopped and sat on an old potting bench alongside a brick wall bordering the park. Lucy hopped, front feet first, onto the wall to check out the goings on on the other side. I couldn’t resist her beautiful silhouette against the evening sunset…oh, and the car dealership. How lovely.

Thanks, Grace, it’s good to be back. Yeah, the move was so hectic, it was hard to find time to stop and think about the gravity of it all. I did find time to visit my dad up on the hill, which was heartbreaking…once there with him, I found it hard to leave. Just wanted to stay. My mom’s situation is a lot further along…her “apartment” isn’t complete yet, but will hopefully be finished in a few weeks. We moved 99% of her stuff to a garage that she had built next to her new place.
