More benches on the perimeter of Ford’s Landing in Old Town Alexandria. On the right is the new and improved Woodrow Wilson bridge that spans the Potomac River from Virginia to Maryland. And something tells me you’ve seen this stuff before.

i haven’t seen it before. but i would love to sit there and watch the world go by
charlane´s last blog post ..liberation
Hi charlane…I feel as though I’ve posted too many photos of this area, but I love it down there. It is nice to just sit and observe the goings-on.
But I always like seeing it again. It’s been ages since I’ve been there.
Jennifer´s last blog post ..Autumnal fantasy
I’ve wondered how much I’d miss it here if I moved out-of-state…have never lived anywhere else. It’s places like this I’d miss most, though I could get comfortable with your weather and scenery real quick!
If I have seen it before, not to worry, I have a short memory sometimes. I love the shot so that’s all that matters :) Sure would be nice to park myself on one of those benches and sit for a while
ann´s last blog post ..It was a ME day Sort of
Thanks, ann, and I’m with you on the short memory. Every now and then we’ll sit here during the Lucy walk if the weather is nice…as it is now. Hope you’re having the same cool and dry!
Hmmm…gettin’ very Euro–artsy on us, Holly…this reminds me of that Marianbad movie…
YogaforCynics´s last blog post ..still clear quiet space
Hee. Marianbad. So, off to google I went, drjay, and I see what you mean. I think if I had enough photos that I thought would look good in b&w, I’d do a strictly b&w photo blog.

Hi healy and thanks for stopping to comment. This is a very peaceful place…usually just the sounds of the water and the gulls.
