I always think of Diana, goddess of the hunt, when Lucy goes a huntin’. She looks so beautifully intense. Fearless for sure, while on the prowl, but recently she’s become overly skittish about noises, and I’m sure we’re to blame for this in the way we’ve reacted to her fear. Too much coddling…poor Lucy.
She does look like she’s got something in her sites there. Reminds me of the other day when Duke was out in the yard chasing a cricket. He wasn’t so patient about it though

Ha! Recently, Lucy’s been catching locusts when she’s out at night, and when I approach her, she runs with it. Then eats it. Ugh. Poor bug, and it’s probably not that healthy for Lucy, either.
