I should have a more substantial post for you tomorrow. I’m on the mend from this darn cold and think I shall be more with it tomorrow. I feel fine…I’m just too busy wiping my nose and coughing to type. Argh!

Seeing houses like that always make me wonder what it may have looked like when it was new, what type of family lived in it and what happy or sad events may have taken place there. I let my mind wander a bit to far sometimes :)

I don’t know its history, though it wouldn’t be hard to find out. A family friend has owned it for years and he rented the upstairs to my sister at one time. Now it’s used mainly for storage. I’m sure it does have some more interesting stories, though…

Rickety it is, drjay. I went upstairs in this place and the steps are so wobbly I wasn’t sure if they’d hold me. Definitely not in move-in condition, but it’s fun to photograph.

I sure you are felling better soon because I can so relate. I have had that cold for over a week now – stuffy and runny nose, sore throat, hacking cough, total gastro-intestinal involvement, aches and pains – Probably why I have been featuring pics all of last week. Now hubby has a cold but not near as bad as I had. Right now we are about equal in symptoms and discomfort. If it weren’t for NyQuil – LOL
