These guys were probably just soaking up some vitamin D, but that sun was hot, and I was wondering, why dontcha just move back a little bit and get yourselves under that shade tree. Holy cow.

Yeah, I’m just not one of them, drjay…at least not for the really hot (and humid) stuff. In cooler weather these grounds are deserted and we let Lucy off-leash to play ball, but on this day, there were just too many distractions.

I love to sit in the sun and it heals all my excema. I know there are loads of health warnings and I make sure I don’t get burnt but it really does heal up some very horrible winter problems :D

Hi Chrissy. Maybe I was a little too judgmental on the sunbathers. Yeah, I do like some sun, and a little unprotected sunbathing is good for everyone. Seems it is one of nature’s healers.

I would be right out there in the sun too. Maybe later in the summer I would opt for shade but now give me sun. Whenever the weather is nice I’ve been sitting outside for my lunch break just to get some of that sunshine.

Yeah, think I know what you mean, ann. After the too-snowy winter we’ve had, some sunshine is nice. Maybe what irks me more is the humidity around here. I don’t mind hot, but I can’t stand sticky. :o(
Ahh yes.. now that spring is finally here in Ohio, I have been sitting out on my south facing front porch catching rays, and enjoying the flowers!
