Thanks, drjay. This was out in the boonies and she spied movement of some sort. And the late sun was on her face. And I agree, she is a beautiful girl. I just love dogs (know you do, too).
Lucy looks like she is in deep thought. Is she day dreaming about running through open fields chasing a ball or maybe a butterfly. Or could it be that she is contemplating which snack to have after dinner.

Ann, I think she sees movement in the bushes of some sort, but I’m sure that a snack isn’t too far from her mind, either. This was one of those moments when she was very still and easier to snap!

Yes, she does, Betty. One good thing about Lucy is that when she’s off-leash and sees something interesting, she usually doesn’t bolt…gives us time to reign her in.
