Yeah!!! Sings of spring are popping up all over the place. It’s even reached the 40′s here today and the sun is shining. Gotta love that. ann´s last blog post ..A little of my history
Hi ann. I think we’re supposed to hit 60 for the next few days. I’m just hoping it doesn’t warm up too fast…am not looking forward to the awful humidity in these parts. :o(
Don’t think anything’s quite budding up my way…was just out walking in the woods, in fact, and didn’t see nothin’…but it may be a mere matter of days…or maybe I just haven’t looked in the right places… YogaforCynics´s last blog post ..Yoga, Surfing, and Pot (El Yogi Cynico en Costa Rica Parte Tres)
Actually, drjay, things here aren’t lookin’ overly springy. I think forsythia buds usually open first around here, but nothing yet, so you’re not alone. Before you know it, we’ll be deep in heat and humidity. Yay! Kinda.
Holly – nice picture! Go back and photograph that bud every day! we had 50 degrees yesterday for the first time in maybe 6 weeks. . . my friend Kathleen’s crocus plants have bloomed in Connecticut which is just amazing. I’ll try to post those tonight. I hope you’re having a great day. koe´s last blog post ..wooden ships
Thanks so much, koe. I’m glad you like it. Things are looking up here, weather-wise, too. We’re into the 50′s and 60′s, but will have rain for the next few days. I haven’t seen crocus here yet, but they’re coming soon. And I see your post title, “Wooden Ships” and am thinking CS&N…
Not much longer now before everything is green and pink and yellow and fuschia!

I know, Jennifer, and I can’t wait. I hope we have a nice spring, ’cause before you know it, I’ll be complaining about the humidity…ugh!
Oh, just waiting for spring. This winter have been the coldes and longest in 20 years…

Hooray…a bud! Today I even saw a few white violet flowers in our yard. Hooray!

Ha! I agree, Lana. I see a few inches of daffodil greens popping up here, so it shouldn’t be too long. Yay!

Very pretty! I can’t wait to see buds on trees here, though I think it’s still early.

Thanks, Diane. I think it’s a little early here, too, although some daffodils are trying to emerge. I just hope we have no more snow days!

Pretty cool, Holly. I feel like Spring is here already, at least in these parts.

Thanks, Joanne, and I’m glad it’s already nicer where you are. We’re getting a lot of rain right now, so I’m hoping for some green when it’s all over.
Why does this photo remind me of a kitten….? hmmmm….??
