Gorgeous pic…even if I can feel my socks getting squishy inside my boots just looking at it…and I’m not even wearing boots… YogaforCynics´s last blog post ..Decades of Me
Thanks, Lana. Yeah, this was a nice puddle…mud hadn’t been kicked up yet so the water was nice and clear. That was some rain we had.

Hi and thanks, Eileen. I wasn’t real happy about the shadows at first, but then decided that they add another dimension…I think. :o|

Hi and thanks, ann. Yes, it does. It was very still and not cold enough to freeze. It’s the first time I’ve seen it puddle up here.
*
Thank ya much, drjay. …and you’re not even wearing socks…ARE YOU??? *blushes, perplexedly* :o|
Fantastic reflections. I love photos of the woods and trees. It’s so inviting even with snow on the ground. Joanne Olivieri´s last blog post ..The Not So Friendly Skies
Geezy, thanks, Grace! Glad you like it.

Hi Joanne and thanks. I love these woods…one of Lucy’s favorite stomping grounds. How she missed that water, I don’t know.

Hi, drjay. I was joking in the cheesy what-are-you-wearing-now sense…I know, lame. I was *perplexed* by my own reply. I understood what you were saying, though.

Hi tashabud and thank you for the compliments. And thanks for stopping by, too!

Thank you, Dori. Glad you like it.

Hi PM. I love reflection shots and haven’t taken one in awhile. All the rain gave me an opportunity. Thanks!
Very nice shot Holly – love the mirror-like surface. My favorite spot is the central opening in the leaves where the sky is reflected with a rich cobalt blue. Plus the fact that it is a nice sunny warm day – yesterday morning when I was writing up my last post it was minus 23 degrees outside! Without windchill – yikes! Like everyone is saying, I LOVE the reflection – the crispness of the air and the colours are fantastic too – makes me want to go for a walk! Bird´s last blog post ..Happy Holidays!
Hi Earth Friendly and thanks so much. I had considered posting this in b&w, but I loved that blue also. And it was a bit warmer on this day than it is now. It’s been below freezing for the past few days, but a thaw is coming soon, I think. Stay warm!

Hi Jennifer and thanks. Another reason I didn’t go b&w…those leaves. I kinda liked the pale undersides in contrast to their rusty colored tops. Hee…Entrecard symmetry…we should get bonus EC points for that, I think!

Hi Bird and thanks. Glad you like it. Something tells me that you don’t need a lot of inspiration to get out there and go for a walk. You are one of the most physically active bloggers I “know.” *lightheartedly turns green* :o)
I love reflections like that, where you can still see what’s under the water. Very nice!

Holly,
I was wearing socks. And they were dry. Because I was inside, not in that snowy marsh.

I like the mirror effect, but I also like the looks of that carpet of leaves.
We’ve achieved Entrecard symmetry this morning. Your ad is running on my blog and my ad is here.
