Very nice….doy you still have snow? Ours got almost completely obliterated by yesterday’s rain…I almost miss it… YogaforCynics´s last blog post ..Nidra
Thank ya, drjay. I took this on Christmas night, just as it started to rain. Come Saturday morning (which just happens to be one of my favorite easy listenin’ tunes) our snow was almost completely gone. A lot of mud now, but Lucy ain’t complainin’… And, yeah, I kinda miss it too…

Hi, Margo, and thanks for stopping by. Glad you like it and could “feel the quiet.” I find foggy scenery especially peaceful.
Wow, you don’t know how much I just wanted it to snow. But, being in the desert, the chances are slim to none. Thank you for sharing this beautiful scene, at least I got a sense of a wonderful snowy day. MadMadMargo´s last blog post ..The Fractured ABC’s Of Christmas – Y
looks like a scene from our area…we’ve still lots of snow on the ground and more in the forecast over the next week or so.

Hi, Joanne and thanks so much. I’m not great when it comes to post titles, but I kinda like this one—glad you do also. And a very Happy New Year to you, too!

Thanks, Latief, and yes, pretty cold and peaceful that night. I think fog always brings a silence with it.

Hi MadMadMargo. I think I might miss the snow, too, if I were in the desert. But snow here never lasts too long. The recent rains pretty much wiped it out. Almost gone now. Happy New Year to you!

Hi Erin and yeah, I can imagine the snow you’ve got…was worse in your parts. Ours is almost gone due to the rains, but I heard bad weather’s coming again. Stay as safe and warm as you can!

Hi nothingprofound and I agree. Once cars and folks get into the mix, it gets ugly fast. Lucy likes occasional neighborhood walks, but it’s just too grimy. The wooded parks are nice, though, so we stick to those walks.

Thanks so much, Chrissy. I’m glad you like the pics. I hope 2010 is great for you, too. I know you’ve been through some tough stuff this year—the coming year will be better, I’m sure. *many hugs* :o)

The woods are the one tolerable place when it snows. Snow always looks beautiful there. In the city it dissolves so quickly into slush and muck.
