This kinda weather’s definitely a lot more fun for the canine crowd than for us humans… YogaforCynics´s last blog post ..Talkin’ Nonsense With Dostoyevsky
Oh my gosh, Svasti, Lucy just can’t stay away from the snow. It’s almost as deep as she is tall, and she loves to hop through it. So cute, but she comes in covered with ice clumps. Crazy girl!

I know what ya mean, drjay. The snow’s just stopped here and I think we have about 16″. I’m guessing you’re getting the brunt of it now. When we next take Lucy to the park, I may drag along an old cardboard box and find me a steep hill—wheee!
I have a lot of Facebook friends in the Mid-Atlantic region and I keep on seeing all these snow pictures, but none of them with a dog as cute and sweet-looking as Lucy. Jennifer´s last blog post ..A sense of place
Poppy, our timid ca, went outside yesterday and looked up at the snow with terror in her eyes. She sat on the step quaking with fear and wondering what all the white stuff was falling from the sky and whether or not she should brave the inch or two on the ground to answer the call of Mother Nature.
I wish I’d taken a photo of that.
She needs a lesson from Lucy buy I think that would scare her even more.
Aw, thanks so much, Jennifer. Lucy thanks you, too. Do you think that Nora misses the snow out here or is she a fair-weather pup? BTW, I’ve slowly been reading through your posts and they are awesome—I’ll be back—sometimes my comments take as long as my posts to craft.

I bet that Duke and Lucy would have a good ole time, ann. Yeah, you and I would just sit and watch…and laugh. :o)

Hi PM. Aw, poor Poppy. Our Emma, a golden retriever, wasn’t afraid of the snow, but wasn’t happy about it either. W would need to shovel her a path through the patio, all the way to the shed, then clear her a space there. I hope Poppy was able to finally take care of her business! :o|

Hi Icy and yes, she loves eating the snow. And hopping through it. And barking at us while she’s hopping through it. Crazy dog.
I’ve never-Never-liked snow except… One winter a housemate went on a trip and asked me to take care of her border collie. Three times a day I walked that dog and watched her frolicking in the high drifts and that was my happiest winter ever..
Hi nothingprofound. I completely understand your joy. And three walks a day? That was some lucky doggie—you definitely sound like doggie-owner material! Lucy is jealous! :o)
hahaha aww thts soo cute! my puppy Sophie (who looks exactly like Lucy) loves the snow too whenever we get to go to it. We live in san diego so we occasionally get to go to the snow wen we visit my grandparents in julian or go camping but Sophie cant get enough of it! haha its so cute and Lucy looks adorable =) i love dogs
