Hi all. We expect to be back home this Sunday, when I can start replying to your heartfelt comments. Thank you all for your concern…
Go to SkyWatch Friday and find skies from all over the world. While you’re there, why not leave a link to your own skies so all can enjoy?

Beautiful tree and sky.

Hi Darvin and thanks. I do enjoy the seasons, but after having visited out west for the first time a few years ago, I was hooked! Didn’t make it to Texas, though. Maybe next time…
You should visit Texas. I guess I should clarify a little…. Texas does have seasons, it just that sometimes you can experience all four within a two week span!
Therefore, mother nature doesn’t have a lot of time to “adjust her face”… :-)

Hi again, Darvin and holy cow. Yes, I have been in Texas. See here: http://earthtoholly.com/2009/11/18/cadillac-ranch/ And, actually, I believe I have some relatives in Grand Prairie, TX. We’ve never met, though. Another story…I’m full of ‘em.
Clearly I’m preaching to the choir! I guess there are actually somethings you can tell me about Texas. I have heard of Cadillac Ranch, but I have not been yet.
It’s officially on my list now though… :-)

Actually, Darvin, Cadillac Ranch is the only thing I’ve seen in Texas, so no, you’re really not preaching to the choir! It is an awesome sight, though, out there all alone in the middle of that dirt field. Worth stopping for if you’re in the area, I think.
