This is Lucy’s friend, Chiarri. My apologies, Chiarri, if I misspelled your name, but you were so excited to get at Lucy that I only had a glance at your name tag.
Chiarri is a Rhodesian Ridgeback and is one of Lucy’s latest friends at the dog park. She’s a tough one, and during a sneak attack, can bump Lucy some distance off her feet. But Lucy’s tough too, and she bounces right back up. Despite their seemingly rough play, they are both very gentle souls, and much of their play time is spent in a standoff plotting the next move.
Check out those toesies on Chiarri. I can imagine them polished a beautiful shade of pink!

LOL I bet pink would look stunning. Lucy’s new friend looks like she could pack quite a wallop running at you full force. I bet they have a blast together.

She looks just like my Maggie! I am shocked to see her actually laying down around another dog. That is something my Maggie rarely does when there is a doggy friend to play with. Too cute:)

What a lovely dog and a beautiful unique name!! You always have such lovely shots Holly. I love to visit here. My apologies for being away so long but I have been slowly making rounds and making sure my favorite blogs are on my blog roll be fore I leave EC.
I will be leaving if drastic changes are not made and posted by midnight the 27th and I definitely don’t want to lose touch with you. I am almost positive that I added you to my roll ages ago. But, I am grabbing addies just to make sure!!
Happy weekend!!

Hi ann. They do have a good time together. Sometimes the both of them will come at us full speed. We keep our knees bent an brace for impact!

Hi Sherri. Chiarri and Lucy had just finished a round of play and they were both pooped. I don’t know about Rhodesian Ridgebacks, but I know Lucy is lazy! After a good burst of energy, she plops down and there she stays!
*****
Hi DK Miller. Yeah, she is a sweetie. Very gentle despite her size.

Hi Lana. Watching them play is pretty funny. Chiarri just overpowers Lucy, but Lucy can make some pretty good moves…lots of twists and turns to throw Chiarri off.

Hi Jackie. Thank you so much for the compliment! Lucy and I enjoy your visits. No need to apologize–I don’t think anyone is worse than me when it comes to making the rounds. Before I know it I’m behind and then lose track of who I have/haven’t visited. So, you’re dropping out of EC? Excuse the pun! It is time-consuming, but at least I’ve found a lot of friends there…like you! A nice weekend to you, too… :o)
I love Rhodesian Ridgebacks! They are just so beautiful.

Chiarri looks like she’s ready to party…and, certainly, if there’s one thing dogs don’t care about, it’s how people misspell their names…

Hi Svasti. I agree…they’re gorgeous. And she is so sweet and attentive.

Hi drjay. Yes, she’s a real party animal…hee hee. I admit it, I’m a freak. Didn’t want to offend the doggie.
Chiarri looks all petered out from playing. My sister-in-law’s been wanting to put a toe ring on my dog for awhile. Chiarri might like some bling.

Hi AVCr8teur. Yeah, she was all pooped out. A toe ring? Really? Well, I suppose that’s fine if you’ve got the toes for ‘em. It looks like Chiarri could handle at least a couple of rings!
