yeah, i think Lucy’s ready to chase them kayakers… a tempting proposition to anyone for that matter =] i’d chase her and wouldn’t mind splashing around a bit hehe may you have a refreshing week ahead ! ian´s last blog post ..Monochrome Monday: WAITING
I imagine she’s thinking – “How did those humans get those fun floaty things? I want to get in with them!”
And I love half-wet dog bodies. As long as they don’t do that shaking thing too close :) Svasti´s last blog post ..Punk’d by Spring
Hi PM and thanks. I think she would’ve liked to get to them, but she won’t go out too far. I think she’s too nervous to really swim much, but she loves the water. So, are you all ready for your visit to us?

Thanks so much, drjay. I’m surprised at how blue the Potomac looks. Must be the sky reflection. Unfortunately its smell isn’t as nice as its appearance. Thanks for stumbling!

Hi ian. Yeah, I think this is the first time she saw kayaks so close. You have a nice week, also.

Hi Joanne. She loves the water and this is one of the few unfenced places where we trust to let her go. The other dogs and the water keep her attention, thank goodness.

Hi Kathy. Yes, I think that’s what she was hoping for! I think she’s too nervous to swim too far and I wonder what she would’ve done if they had come closer. Lucy loves your visits!

Hi Svasti. I, too, think she’s wondering what they’re doing out there. And she does that “shaking thing” close to you. It’s almost like dogs can’t shake unless they’re right next to ya…ewww.

Hi lina and thanks for stopping by. Yeah, she was very curious…just not enough to go after them.

Hi Charity. I wish they had been closer so I could get a better pic. Hey, maybe Lucy scared them off. Yeah, right…
Great picture! I lived in Alexandria for many years. It’s a great city (except for smoggy days in summer). Love your photos. Linda W´s last blog post ..A View of Germany Valley

Hi Holly,
Good photo. I’ll bet Lucy was tempted to swim all the way out to them.
:0)
Cheers

Thanks, Linda W. Yeah, summers are no fun here…as you know, the humidity is awful. I enjoyed looking through your site–beautiful pics! :o)
