Lucy met Champ for the first time last night. He’s an almost four-month-old Golden Retriever and like all dogs, is simply precious. His people said that his mother had small hindquarters, but his father was very large, which may explain the odd way his back legs splay when he lies down. Unfortunately, Lucy was worn out by the time Champ arrived, but there was no shortage of attention from the other dogs.
Very furry, very leggy, very cute. And the attention span of, uh…me.

Lovely looking pup. I was just looking a photos of my golden retriever x, Jet, when he was 4 months, and how similar they look. No that he has grown, he now looks more sheep dog than retriever. I hope those hip joints don’t give Champ too much problem, as golden retriever often have hip problem.
