Beautiful macro Holly,
Chinese likes to buy this plant to decorate their house during Chinese New Year. They tied the branch with small ribbons. VanillaSeven´s last blog post ..Teddy Bear
Hi and thanks, Vanilla. I’ve never seen this at Chinese New Year, but that’s very interesting. For good luck, I assume?

Thanks, drjay. Okay, so I thought I could drag the milkweed joke outta ya once more… Oh well.

Okay, Charity, I have to say “ditto” on YogaforCynics’ comment up there. Oh, sweet Charity, where did I go wrong with you?!

Hi Shinade and thanks so much. Yes, when I took this it was snowy in the park and no one was around, so this came from peaceful surroundings. And I’m glad to hear that at least a few here don’t have their minds in the gutter! :o)
Hi Jennifer. I’m glad to hear it—that you’ve come here with a pure mind AND you’ll be returning to blogging! Just kidding about the pure mind…you’re welcome here no matter what you’re thinking. :o) Looking forward to reading you again.

Thanks, campbelljane. I’m glad you like it.

Thanks, Dori, and thanks for stopping by.
Hi and thanks, Nothing Profound. Glad you liked it. I remember that when I took the koi picture I was focused on the fish and not the tree. Turns out, they do look a little like leaves, as YogaforCynics commented.
This plant is so beautiful. I don’t think I have ever seen anything quite like it. Does it just grow as we see it? And what temperature/weather condition is it most likely to feel most at home in? Ana´s last blog post ..Destiny is in your hands; in every breath

My mind is pure – I though of spring!
I’m making tentative forays back into the blogging world, btw, though I may not return in earnest until after Labor Day, when my son goes back to school. Thank you for checking in to the blog periodically.
