Please excuse the murkiness of my landscape here. This was taken through my hazy window on the train as it passed through Staunton, Virginia, about an hour away from Charlottesville.
Don’t care for murky landscapes? Go to SkyWatch Friday and find a sky more to your liking! While you’re there, why not leave a link to your own skies so all can enjoy?
Thanks to Lana over at The Dreaming Tree for turning me on to SkyWatch Friday.

Great skywatch photo, thanks for sharing.
Have a great weekend!

I understand that being a drive by shooter myself. Sometimes I get lucky and the photo turns out clear and vivid; most of the time it has a lot of noise. The photo also depends so much on the lighting outside.
I like this photo. This is sharing your viewpoint as the train moves.

Good for you for taking your camera along! The photo may be a bit murky but it also has charm now that I know where you were when you took it. ;-)

Hi Holly, thanks for stopping by my blog and I have so enjoyed yours. This picture may not be sunny and bright but it has a wonderful quality about it. Great shot! Have to say I am in love with Lucy, she is adorable! You also have some super photos on your blog, some of which I recognize very well – it’s fun to see another eye on a place I have been too. Look forward to other photos of yours as time goes on.

Thanks Photo Cache. Yeah, I love “drive by” shooting, as you call it (I like that!). Because you expect most of them to be lousy, but if you happen to get a good one, it’s such a pleasure. NOT that I consider this a good one, mind you!
