Hi Holly,
I would just like to point out that, like my cats, I would bet that Lucy works very hard. It’s not easy maintaining that photogenic look and it takes a lot of effort to constantly climb up and down from the furniture. Fitness levels must be honed to perfection to be able to chase anything that moves and I’ll bet Lucy is constantly vigilant for things to chase.
My cats are the same but have the added responsibility of teaching me how to catch mice – something I haven’t been able to master yet. It’s so difficult being a dog or a cat. I’d think twice about it if I were you.

As I told vanilla7, you’ve got some good points. I guess I don’t give Lucy enough credit, but it just looks so easy! I’d have no problem eating constantly, but Lucy would have to teach me how to bark at the mailman. Come to think of it, he still leaves us bills to pay, so her barking is not as effective as it could be. She also beats me hands down photogenically as well as in the chasing-moving-objects department. Holy cow, it looks like Lucy is due a “raise” of some sort…maybe some extra dog bones…
I do hope when you master mice-catching that you’ll keep the kitties on…you know, provide them with a good retirement. :o)
Looks like Lucy and my Lena work for the same company, it’s a tough job, but one that I don’t think they’ll be quitting any time soon :)

I mean, geez, I don’t have someone filming ME. I have to do all my own filming. I don’t have a bed that soft. My hair isn’t that shiny, nor my teeth that healthy, and I am DEFINITELY not that relaxed of late due my maxed out work load. She isn’t even working!! She doesn’t have to cook, clean, do laundry……
Oh yes!!! I am DEFINITELY coming back as one of you dogs, So look for in about 50 years!! Make a post it note right now and put it on your fridge. “Look for Robin Easton in a husky’s body in 50 years.” You do like huskies don’t you? Oh Robin—you are such a card!
First of all, I would love to be around in 50 years to take you in—no matter what your breed, except for maybe that hairless poodle thing—yikes—may have to dress you up with a wig or something. Anyway, I just love huskies and I’ll even live somewhere cold for you because I know how those fur coats are hell in the heat. I only ask that you chew your hairbrush, run from your harness and chase the vacuum cleaner—that’s what we’re used to around here and I don’t think we could handle it if things were “normal.”
