Oh!! You know I love this bench. Every time I see it I am overcome by a great peace. Isn’t that amazing that something so simple can do that?!! This time I could smell the leaves on the ground and feel a slight chill in the air. It took me back to my childhood for some reason. There are also so many interesting angle/lines in this photo. Did you notice that? The rectangular bench, the curve of the walking track and then the branches reaching right across the whole thing. I love it. You have beautiful sense of design.

Robin, you know I thought of you! I remembered how much you liked it the first time and happened to find this pic taken in the fall. The county is in the process of fixing up the park and they’ve moved it—I’m looking for it to be returned when they’re finished or I’m gonna have to make some noise! I’m so glad you like the shot—thank you for your kind and inspiring comments. I’ll be by your place again soon. I came by a day or so ago and read your beautiful post (it very much pertains to how I’m feeling) and mean to return for comment…I hate to “read ‘n run”! hugs to ya! :o)
The scene has a tranquil and soothing effect. The bench is very inviting!
Wish you a very Happy New Year.

Thank you, Sadia. Happy New Year to you, too!
Thanks, MMMargo. Yes, I love this bench and have yet to find another that compares. It’s Mother Nature beckoning “sit.”
Hmmm…looks like such a lovely, peacdful, inviting place to sit and contemplate for a little while…kinda like your blog (though I think I might wanna put something between me and the bench in the picture to keep my butt from getting wet, which I don’t generally need to do when enjoying Earth to Holly)….

Drjay, tis exactly why earth to holly has provided a link to the dry, sunny said bench. If you didn’t bring a raincoat, please go there for peaceful contemplation…this one’s for fish, frogs and others who don’t mind getting their butts wet! :o)
Wow nice shoot! This is a great place to refresh and relax, to seat in that bench and have some sight seeing in the surroundings. This might be a good place to pause from stressful work and have a seat in that bench. Nice one, very much appreciated!
