I’ve been “stockpiling” most of my fall photos. I refrain from using the word “hoard” lest I conjure up visions of a houseful of kitties, old newspapers and empty tuna cans…not that there’s anything wrong with that! As I’ve yet to reach that point (although I feel I’m quickly approaching), as far as the photos are concerned, I’ve decided to wash my hair of ‘em, set ‘em free and put ‘em out there for all to see—they’re starting to gather dust!

Hi Holly!
Gorgeous autumn pics! Thanks for the award. We’re currently dusting off a shelf to put it on! : )

Hi Rebecca…thanks much on the pics! Enjoy your “Lemonade” and happy Thanksgiving! :o)
Hi MMMargo. No. 6 happens to be a Japanese maple in our front yard. There are actually tens of them around…they pop up everywhere. This happens to be one of the prettier ones, color-wise. Have a happy Thanksgiving! :o)

Very nice photos, Holly. And I have to say, the colours in some of your photos are striking.
It still makes me smile that Americans call this season “Fall”. It’s obvious why, of course. It will always be “Autumn” to me, though. :-)
Cheers

Thanks PM.
I prefer the sound of “Autumn,” so I don’t know why I used fall. Possibly too lazy to eek out two more letters?? I hope not! :o)
The photographs are wonderful . . . #3, 11 & 21in particular are stunning. . . The Japanese Maple in your yard is a treasure. The photos convey such a natural calm.

Thanks for your kind comments, Koe, and I’m glad you enjoyed them. Yeah, that Japanese maple is nothing but branches now, but it’s still pretty! :o)
