  • great shot! love water droplets. the micro photographers who can shoot a droplet, sometimes with critters on one is pretty cool. i am working on a post for well-designed water-repellent objects and the photo reminds me to get back to it!

  • Thanks for your kind comment. I’m always thankful when I happen to catch such a natural moment—doesn’t happen often! Glad to be an inspiration!

  • Quite a lovely shot. Do you know what kind of flower that is?

  • Thanks for the comments, Lana. No, I don’t know what this is, but it’s in a nearby park of Virginia native plants. Most are labeled so sometime I’ll check on this one. Thanks for stopping by!

  • Gorgeous macro of a flower in one of my favorite colors. Those rain droplets that you captured in stunning clarity make the photo even more unique. I’ll browse around here to see what kind of camera and lens you use?
P.S. The purple iris of similar color on the right hand side bar of my blog was shot at the same gardens a few years ago.

GeL(Emerald Eyes)´s last blog post..I Want to Hold Your Hand

  • Thanks, GeL. The camera I use is a Canon PowerShot SD400 Digital Elph, 5.0 mega pixels (I have no idea what I just typed…copied off of the camera). It’s about 4 years old and the macro is just a setting.

I see your purple iris and I checked out some of your other photos…beautiful! I love the snowy ones!
