Oh!!! This IS a magical photo, bench, and place. It brought tears to my eyes because it feels so peaceful, which with my work load right now I could use a place like this. Wish it was right outside my backdoor. The photo is nicely framed with the shadow of the bench and the drooping branch and sunlit leaves of the tree. I could almost smell the Earth and hear the leaves rustle. AND I think that is THE most beautiful bench I’ve ever seen. Something about the stone lit by warm sun make me feel peaceful but solidly grounded. Like the rock bench alone would absorb any stress and worry and be immediately calming. Know what I mean? Just beautiful, Holly.
I know exactly what you mean Robin, and I couldn’t have worded it any nicer! Oh, I believe you would love this place…it’s called Green Spring Gardens, about 15 acres or so with an 18th century colonial house, that is a haven for native Virginia plants and it’s just beautiful! Probably one of the most peaceful places around here even though in a high-population area. I plan on posting more about it at some point as I’ve taken zillions of pictures there. Try not to stress too much!

That is pretty and makes me want to read a book.
Yeah, doesn’t it? Just looks peaceful and I love the natural stone.

Thanks, Raymond. I especially like this one, however I haven’t seen it since they “remodeled” the pond area. Boo.
